One of the things...The food looks delicious, Kate! One of the things I remember well from my 2 years in Afghanistan is just how good the local food was, especially the rice. I'm not sure how they prepared it (I'm not exactly a culinary expert) but it was by far the best rice I've ever had. Each valley and village seemed to have there own twist to it as well.
